Programs assist in filing, or make decisions regarding permits which allow admission, on a temporary basis, of educational exchange students, au pair workers, graduate medical trainees, practical training students, professors and researchers, short-term scholars, camp counselors and others for the purpose of teaching, instructing or lecturing, studying, observing, conducting research, consulting, demonstrating special skills or receiving training as a part of an exchange program officially recognized by the U.S. Information Agency.
