Programs that provide a hotline, website or other mechanisms that people can use to report false mail order advertising, receipt of unsolicited merchandise, chain letters, free prize or vacation schemes, government look-alike mail, work-at-home schemes, phony job opportunities, home improvement/repair frauds, missing persons fraud schemes, prison pen pal money order scams, fraudulent health and medical products, pyramid sales promotions, credit card schemes, solicitations disguised as invoices, 900 telephone number schemes, coupon redemption scams, land fraud schemes, oil and gas investment frauds, cut-rate insurance fraud, franchise schemes, or other fraudulent business schemes that are carried out through the mail. Reports may be filed by mail fraud victims or by people who have information about individuals they know to be perpetrating these types of scams.
