Individuals who are either citizens of Papua New Guinea or who identify themselves as part of the Papua New Guinean community. Papua New Guinea consists of the eastern portion of the island of New Guinea in the south Pacific Ocean along with numerous nearby islands. Although more than 700 indigenous language are spoken, the official languages are English and Tok Pisin.
