Individuals whose ethnic background and cultural ancestry identify them as part of the Roma community. The Roma are a traveling people who immigrated into Europe from India several hundred years ago. There are Roma communities in virtually all European countries and also in North America. The traditional language is Roma (sometimes also styled as Romani).
