Taxonomy: Leriche's Syndrome

An occlusion of the abdominal aorta by a thrombus at its bifurcation, usually occurring in males, which causes fatigue in the hips, thighs and calves on exercising; absence of pulsation in the femoral arteries; and impotence. Pallor and coldness of the lower extremities are often present.
