Programs that help nonprofit organizations, small businesses and other groups design strategies for evaluating their programs and services, products and/or overall organizational effectiveness and efficiency. Evaluations can take a variety of forms including benchmarking (comparisons to other similar organizations), customer/client satisfaction surveys, employee satisfaction surveys, organizational performance reviews which measure progress toward goals and the extent to which goals are being met, program audits which verify compliance with professional standards and contractual obligations, and outcome measurements which assess the changes that have occurred as a result of program activities.
