Eating establishments that offer a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, many featuring deli meats (corned beef, pastrami, tongue, brisket, salami, bologna, chopped liver, kosher franks, liverwurst, knockwurst) on a choice of bread (including pumpernickel, rye, bagels, croissants, Kaiser rolls or pita pockets) with condiments.
