Revenge porn is a form of cyber sexual harassment or, in some cases cyberbullying, and should be taken seriously, especially if minors are involved. Revenge porn laws and associated penalties vary by jurisdiction; in some cases the defendant, usually an ex-partner or hacker, may be required to register as a sex offender if convicted.
