(Puuhonua Prison Program - Pre/Post-Release Assistance to Oahu Offenders, Pu'uhonua Prison Program - Pre/Post-Release Assistance to Oahu Offenders) Puuhonua Prison Program helps incarcerated men and women navigate through the challenges of re-entering society, which includes avoiding homelessness, becoming rehabilitated, securing employment, and avoiding recidivism. Program participants receive help obtaining MedQUEST health insurance, SNAP/financial assistance, Goodwill clothing vouchers, bus passes, and referrals to shelter/housing resources and prospective employers. Puuhonua staff meet with offenders on-site at Oahu’s correctional facilities and also provide support post-release. (HCAP STEM) The Ha Initiative: Creative STEM After-School Program is a free Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) after-school program for youth in grades 2-8. The program provides year-round tutoring, mentorship, and fun STEM activities in a safe after-school setting at five STEM Exploration Center locations on Oʻahu.

McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA) - Farrington Campus provides adults with basic, remedial, and continuing education opportunities. Our programs include English Language Acquisition (ELA), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation, and Workforce Development Program (WDD).

(STD/AIDS Prevention Program) Coordinates HIV and STD intervention activities with community health agencies and health care providers. For neighbor islands, call or visit their island's District Health Office.

(PSI Helpline) Provides a helpline for support and local referrals for postpartum mental health, along with online information and support groups to help families, providers, and communities learn about the emotional and mental health of childbearing families. Website helps locate specialized support coordinators. The helpline connects callers to crisis hotlines, support groups, and events in that area. Helpline runs 24/7, but is staffed only during business hours. Callers may leave confidential messages anytime and staff will return them as soon as possible.
