Kipuka o ke Ola is dedicated to a healthy community in which to live, work and raise strong families. We support this vision by collaborating to improve the health status with programs including: Get Fit Hawaii, North Hawaii Drug Free Coalition and Lifeplan Institute Hawaii Island. We encourage a blended model of health and healing that includes mind, body, spirit, nature and community. Our focus is on three districts of north Hawaii Island: North Kohala, South Kohala and Hamakua but collaborate island-wide.

(Alaka'i Na Keiki) Alakai Na Keiki provides children, youth and adults with psychological and substance abuse assessments, sex abuse, mental health and substance abuse treatment as well as individual and group therapy.

Provides management and technical assistance to small businesses. Provides consulting, workshops and seminars. Library of resource materials, books, videos available for loan.

Provides support services for terminally ill patients and their families. Nurses, trained volunteers, psychologists and social workers provide physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual care. All services are provided in patient's home. Also provides bereavement and grief counseling.

Self-Help Housing Corporation of Hawaii (SHHCH) is developing the 87 lot Nanaikeola Self-Help Housing Subdivision in Nanakuli. SHHCH provides technical assistance to families with very low and low income to build their own houses through the team self-help housing method. Technical assistance includes financial counseling, loan packaging, homeownership education, and instructions on-the-job on how to build houses through the mutual self-help housing method. Under the team self-help housing approach families will build one and two story, three and four bedroom houses for $395,000, fee simple. No down payment required. Each family will contribute 32 hours/week of labor and help each other build the houses through a mass construction technique. SHHCH projects initiating the residential construction at the end of 2025.

(SHEG) A one time, not ongoing financial assistance for households who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Single, couples and families. Provides assistance with rent deposit, first month rent, past due rent, utilities when included with rent or if utility assistance prevents homelessness. Utility assistance for renters only. Utilities assistance to prevent the household from losing their housing or prevent homelessness.

(Womens Outpatient Clinic) Operates an outpatient clinic offering comprehensive medical, obstetrical and gynecological care. Offers family planning services, pregnancy testing, prenatal and high risk prenatal care, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, dietary counseling, urgent care, teen clinic, Endocrine clinic and various clinic procedures.

Safeguards the rights of individuals in need of assistance in criminal, involuntary commitment and family cases by providing legal services.

(St Francis Preschool) We provide a nurturing environment for your child to learn and grow socially, morally, spiritually, intellectually, and physically, surrounded by positive Catholic values. Our curriculum combines various Montessori teaching principles and materials with “traditional” preschool methods that include teacher-directed, theme-based lessons and creative play. St. Francis Preschool is one of the programs housed at the St. Francis Intergenerational Center in Ewa. This creates opportunities for the young and young-at-heart to share in life-learning experiences together. Some of the shared activities include cultural celebrations, art and music that transcends the age differences of the participants.

Operates after-school program, holiday, summer, intersession, waiver days, located at Moiliili Community Center and Jefferson A+, Kaahumana A+ and Lunalilio A+ programs.
