Neighborhood Boards provide input and recommendations to government agencies and elected officials. Addresses issues and concerns at the city, state, or federal level. Neighborhood Board members are volunteers who are elected to a two-year term. Oahu has 33 Boards which meet once a month in their respective communities.

Seeks to preserve existing community resources. Promotes community involvement in planning and economic development. Sponsors events such as Old Hawaiian Horseback, rodeos and other cultural events. Supports community projects.
