(Community Assistance Center) The City and County of Honolulu is providing a Community Assistance Center at Waialua District Park. Services will continue to expand so you may need to check back to see which services are offered in the future. Services include: -Honolulu Emergency Services Department (HESD) will provide medical assessments and care, assistance with replacing lost prescriptions, and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. -Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) will provide information and support for emergency permitting. -Department of Housing and Land Management (DHLM) will provide information on available housing options in City and County of Honolulu properties. -Department of Customer Services (DCS) will provide Kupuna resources and handbooks, down payment and rental assistance, and other home support services. -The Board of Water Supply (BWS) will provide information on billing in impacted areas. -Office of Economic Revitalization (OER) will provide information for businesses and farmers, along with language access support. -State Department of Health, Vital Records will provide assistance in replacing lost documents including birth, marriage, and death certificates. -State Department of Health, Environmental Health will help with questions and information about safe clean up. Additional services for community partners may include: the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, Aloha United Way, Healthy Mother, Healthy Babies, and Hawaii Foodbank. Utility providers and internet phone service companies may be on site to help residents experiencing service disruptions. Free Wi-Fi is available along with a charging station for phones, computers, and other devices. Please bring your own charging cords if possible.
