(Pu'ulu Lapa'au, Hawai'i Program for Healthcare Professionals) The mission of Puulu Lapaau, the Hawaii Program for Healthcare Professionals, is to promote patient safety and care by improving the health, well-being and effectiveness of healthcare professionals. We achieve this by offering confidential support and advocacy to healthcare professionals with potential conditions including substance use disorders, mental or physical illness, work-life imbalance and behavioral concerns. We also help determine fitness to practice and practice re-entry.

Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii is dedicated to serving Hawaii’s children, families, and communities with aloha and programs that strengthen health, wellness, and resilience against substance misuse through awareness, education, and action. Programs include: after-school/in-school evidence-based programs for youth; youth leadership development; family strengthening workshops; youth and family counseling services; training and capacity building with communities; the Hawaii Prevention & Treatment Resource Center which offers substance use prevention, treatment, and related educational materials and resources to the general public; the Hawaii Pacific Center for Excellence providing training for the workforce in the field of substance abuse prevention, treatment, health, and wellness; and TeenLink Hawaii, a teen resource for information on critical health and social issues impacting youth.
