The Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center works to educate the community on how to prevent overdose, recognize the signs of overdose, and treat someone experiencing an overdose.
The medication Naloxone has proven to stop the effects of opioid overdose and save lives, and is legal to carry in the state of Hawaii. Our naloxone program is free and anonymous, and available on Oahu, Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii Island.
