Here and Now group for current life issues concentrating on providing veterans with effective coping skills and management of PTSD symptomology. Also serves as preparation for possible future more intense treatment than that offered through outpatient services. PTSD and Addictions addresses the needs of veterans suffering from PTSD and Substance Abuse. Providing veterans with the abilities to identify risk factors, prevent relapse and practice effective coping skills. Residents are required to attend AA and/or NA meetings several times a week. War Trauma Focus is designed to provide appropriate circumstances for veterans to re-experience emotional impacts of trauma, understanding recovery, accepting responsibility and coping skills are the primary emphasis.
