Partners in Development Foundation has been dedicated to drawing upon the ancient Hawaiian cultural traditions to meet the current challenges facing today’s Hawaiian population. Using vital traditional concepts such as the ahupua‘a system of land and environmental stewardship, and ho‘ona‘auao, traditional mentorship in education, Partners in Development creates and implements programs to address the needs of at-risk groups within the Hawaiian community, such as preschool children, their caregivers, and economically depressed neighborhoods. Applying innovative yet time-tested approaches to assisting foster families and homeless communities, and teaching new informational technologies, Partners in Development seeks to create a climate of caring, knowledge and support that will reach far into the future of Hawai‘i. Adult Residential Care Home

Lunalilo Home is currently is licensed for 42 residents by the State of Hawaii Department of Health for Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH), Type II, and up to 20% of the beds for Expanded ARCH or EARCH, Type II. Residents of Lunalilo Home receive 24-hour supervised care and supportive services in an ohana (family) setting. Lunalilo Home is a private organization that is not funded by any state or federal programs. We do not directly bill Medicare or Medicaid for any of the services we provide; however, our residents may utilize Medicare and Medicaid as well as other health insurance for their medical needs. In recent years, Lunalilo Home has added elderly services including Adult Day Care, Respite Care, Meals-to-Go and Caregiver Support programs. In the coming years, Lunalilo Home plans to further enhance its services and facilities to increase its impact in the community and preserve the legacy of our kupuna and the Hawaiian people. A late fee of $250 will be assessed per 30 days outstanding.

Windward YMCA

Provides after school A+ program at several elementary schools. Offers swimming lessons and other classes. Conducts fitness programs, aerobics, intersession and summer fun program.

Adult day care services for senior citizens of all ethnic backgrounds. Services include daily exercises, arts and crafts, socialization, outings, local entertainment, and other mentally and physically stimulating activities. We also offer bathing for an additional charge. Late Fee of $250 assessed per 30 days outstanding.

Trains members for effective voluntarism in community through advocacy, education and direct service. Supports projects with financial and/or administrative volunteer assistance. Accepts volunteers for community projects or fundraising.

Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
