Domestic Violence Action Center

Dedicated to helping victims of domestic abuse by providing direct legal services to clients, legal information, case management and support services, community education, and advocacy for system reform and other specialized services. LEGAL SERVICES - New cases are being accepted - Representation in all restraining order matters is ongoing.

The West Maui Taxpayers Association (WMTA) is a non-profit organization founded in 1974 to provide an organized voice of support for public and private improvements which have potential benefit for the West Maui community from Lahaina to Kapalua. WMTA was founded to assure that West Maui would receive its fair share of tax-funded improvements by state and county governments. WMTA has been at work on these improvements for over 40 years. Represents taxpayers' interests to the government. Welcomes individual and business members and inquiries from the general public. Schedules public education forums dealing with issues and proposed laws to advance responsible action.
