You can use the Refund tracker to view the status of your refund without making an IRS account. Your Social Security Number, tax year, your filing status, and the refund amount as shown on your tax return is required to use the Refund tracker. The website also contains information on tax forms and how to file your taxes. Your taxes may be filed for free via the IRS Free File or Free File Fillable Forms may be used. Information is also available on tax fraud and identity theft.
