Operates public housing programs for low income families. Provides rent supplements/subsidies (Section 8). Coordinates funding for homeless programs. The HPHA Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is still operating. However, applications for new vouchers are not being accepted at this time due to the large number of families on the current waiting list for Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program assistance.
