(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. (MST, Multisystemic) This program is a unique, goal-oriented model that provides comprehensive treatment that serves chronic, violent delinquents ages 12 years old to 18 years old. It is a family focused, in-home and community-based treatment program that has been the focus of several major research studies, and demonstrated clinical and cost effectiveness for youth with complex emotional, social and academic needs Multisystemic (MST) is a time-limited, intensive family and community based treatment that addresses serious anti-social behavior in juvenile offenders ages 12 years old - 18 years old. Program addresses the factors associated with delinquency across the youth’s settings (e.g. family, peers, school, neighborhood) and uses the strengths of each system to foster positive change. At least one adult/parental figure must be willing to assume long-term parenting role and participate with service providers for the duration of treatment.

(HI-EMA, SCD, State Civil Defense Division) State of Hawaii Department of Defense's Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) activates public warning and instructions in emergencies. E Ala Hou is a specialized substance abuse treatment program for pregnant and parenting women. The program provides such services as: -Screening and assessments -Individual and group counseling -Outpatient and aftercare services -Motivational Enhancement -Collaborate with community resources -Transportation to group activities -Childcare for children while mothers are in treatment services The goal of the program is to reduce the severity and disabling effects of alcohol and other drugs on high risk pregnant and parenting women and their children. E Ala Hou provides tailored services to meet the specific and critical needs of pregnant and parenting women. Childcare provided as needed.

(MEO) Works with people who have bad credit, no credit, low-income, and no measurable assets to provide assistance and guidance in the loan application process through loan approval from our Internal and External Loan Committees. Small business loans range from $500 to $10,000 to be used for startup operations or the expansion of an existing small business. Step loans are available after six months of on-time payments. A borrower can seek an additional $25,000 for expansion. Emergency loans ranging from $200 to $2000 are also available.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: fall, spring, and summer.
