We work to empower our clients to become more independent and participate fully in the communities where they live, work, and play. Services are delivered with dignity, passion, and the ultimate goal of self-determination. Program focus areas are enhancing independence, person-centered planning, social skills and enrichments, community integration and access, employment skills, personal care, and daily living skills. Adult Home and Community-based Services include group and individual services; employment services, Adult Day Health (ADH), Community Learning Service (CLS), Community Learning Service-Individual (CLS-I) for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism and down syndrome.

Susannah Wesley Community Center (SWCC) volunteers serve as a welcoming point of contact for neighbors seeking support. Volunteers help with food assistance, diapers, sorting donations for the free store, and being personal shoppers in the free store.

The Battleship Missouri has served her nation with honor and distinction through World War II, the Korean War, and Operation Desert Storm, with the service and devotion of her crews spanning three generations. Today she stands proudly as an international icon of strength for freedom and the site and symbol of the formal ending of World War II. We offer school groups the opportunity to learn more about the USS Missouri’s role in three wars and as a living, historic memorial. We are proud to serve more than 17,000 students from around Hawaii in Battleship Missouri Memorial Education programs every year. Honolulu Habitat for Humanity helps families build, purchase or repair their own homes. Families work alongside volunteers. The programs are financed through Honolulu Habitat's low to no interest mortgage program. Builds and renovates homes using volunteer labor and donated materials, at no profit and no interest. Homeowners repay the cost over a fixed time period; payments are recycled to build more homes. It requires homeowners to participate in construction as well as help other prospective homeowners build theirs. Volunteers assist with all phases of construction, social work, public relations, finance, and office support. (TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. The Department of Human Services (DHS) has received reports of fraudulent transactions statewide, but the reports are largely concentrated on the island of Oahu in the urban Honolulu area. What should I do if I suspect a fraudulent transaction has occurred with my EBT card? -DHS encourages all Financial or SNAP clients to be proactive and check their EBT account for unusual transactions. -Please visit the DHS Processing Center (PC) nearest to you to report any fraudulent transaction and to request a replacement card. Can DHS replace my benefits if they were stolen? -Clients who report lost benefits due to a fraudulent transaction must report the lost benefits to DHS and may request replacement of their SNAP benefit. -Congress passed a law in late 2022 to help SNAP participants who are victims of card skimming, cloning and other similar methods of activity. When your EBT card is not in use, you can freeze your card and unfreeze your card when you need to use it again for purchases. -Block out-of-state and online transactions. Fraudulent transactions have been reported to occur with online and out-of-state transactions. You may block these types of purchase when you are not traveling out of state or not shopping online. -Beware of Phishing schemes. State agencies and EBT processors will never call or text you to ask for your PIN or card number. Be cautious when you receive these requests and do not share your personal information. ISG offers an array of support services and product sales (assistive technology) for people who are blind or experience low vision, are deaf or are hard of hearing, or have a speech disability. ISG is a local distributor for many key mainland manufacturers of high and low technology such as desktop and portable video magnifiers, screen reading computer programs, and many other low vision aids. ISG sells and services assistive listening and alerting devices such as FM listening systems and telephone/doorbell alerting systems. ISG conducts assessment with people with disabilities to evaluate their need for assistive technology that can aid in one's productivity for independent living or employment. ISG coordinates services from a fully accessible, model home in Honolulu where an array of technology is on display for people to "try before you buy". ISG hosts the Assistive Technology User Group meetings.

A Critical Access Hospital with 24 hours, 7 days a week Emergency Department and 5 bed Acute unit as well as distinct part 66 bed Long Term Care and 9 bed Adult Acute Psychiatric unit. Provides outpatient rehabilitation services including treatment for back pain, sports and on-the-job injuries, stroke, and neuropathies. Other outpatient services include radiology and Specialty Clinics. Offers four spacious treatment booths and a hydrotherapy room. Specializes in MyoFacial Release techniques and designing Work-Hardening programs. Occupational therapy provides consultation for ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training and adaptive aids.
