(Easter Seals Hawaii Home and Community-Based Services, Easter Seals Hawaii Honolulu Services Center Adult Day Health Program) Adult Day Health (ADH) focuses on providing a small group environment that fosters growth, and challenges the adult participant to increase independence in a variety of community settings. Emphasis is placed on individual choice, allowing adults to pursue opportunities that match their interests and skills while promoting their dignity and independence. The program provides daily respite for individual and family caregivers as well as provides participants with educational, social, health and recreational opportunities. ADH participants have a full-range of activities to choose from including: the option to go on daily excursions, enjoy art programs, volunteer in the community, attend computer classes with the aid of assistive technology, learn money skills, participate in weekly hula classes or give back to the community through recycling programs. Adult Day Health - Adult Day Health programs are located in Central Maui and provide therapeutic environments for our participants to grow and learn. We offer enriching community activities, promote self-direction and provide individualized programming. Our staff are teachers, advocates and mentors collaborating to foster our participants’ independence and supporting them to achieve their goals. We provide daily transportation and lunch. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am-2:00 pm. Come join and grow with us! Personal Assistant Services - This is a 1:1 service, where the participant is matched with a fully trained staff who assists him/her with navigating the community or working in the participant's home to achieve his/her individualized goals. These goals are developed by the participant and his/her circle of support in order to increase his/her level of independence and community access. Service hours are evaluated by the Department of Health and based on the participant’s needs and goals. Employment Services - Arc of Maui County supports the premise that all participants shall have the opportunity for competitive and integrated employment. Employment services are discussed with the participant and their circle of support to identify their interests and preferences. Employment is a significant way to improve self esteem and support participants to be contributing members of their communities.

(IIH, Intensive in Home) This program provides mental health services for children/adolescents who have serious emotional and behavioral disorders. Program staff work with the family to stabilize and preserve their capacity to improve the youth’s functioning in the current living environment and to prevent the need for placement outside the home. Intensive In-Home Mental Health Treatment Services for children, youth, and families who require a higher level of care than office-based services, but who do not require residential or hospital level care.

Inspects and certifies grade, quality and condition of agriculture products such as fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, foliage, shell eggs, animal feed, coffee, nuts and processed food products. Develops grade standards. Educates public to use grade standards. Administers federal standards and compliance.

(Saint Jude Catholic Church Outreach, St Jude Catholic Church Outreach) Saint Jude Catholic Church Food Pantry provides canned and dry foods. Does not provide any financial assistance. Each client can only use the food pantry twice a month. Tickets are passed out at Tuesday 1:00 pm.

The State of Hawaii Department of Taxation - Hawaii District collects State taxes, provides information and assistance on preparation of certain tax forms, issues general excise tax licenses, and furnishes State tax forms.

(Transitional Housing Program) Provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs and up to 24 months at the Transitional Apartments. Transitional Housing Program provides housing for victims who need safety and support and are ready to go to school/work. Client learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plan, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they're not responsible for domestic violence. Length of stay varies depending on individual needs.

Provides social casework, pre-sentence investigation, and supervision of adults convicted of misdemeanor offenses and traffic violations. Assists Court in using sentencing power to rehabilitate individuals. All clients are Court ordered for misdemeanor offenses for pre-sentence reports or on supervision for maximum of one year for each case referred. Referral for mental health, drug and alcohol assessment and follow up treatment. Restitution study for victims of crimes and collection of monies may be ordered by the Judge. (Moku Loa Group) Monitors activities and development on the Big Island for impacts on the environment, water/air quality, pollution, native species, and human health. Works to preserve and protect native species and natural resources, especially native rainforest, native bird and plant habitats, marine and costal areas. Presents monthly programs to inform and educate. Certified hike leaders provide outings for enjoyment and education. Sponsors service trips to maintain trails or protect unique resources.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

(SASS, Empowering Alternatives Program, EAP, Sexual Assault Response and Advocacy Services, SARAH) Operates a 24-hour crisis hotline for persons affected by a sex assault, including women, men, girls and boys. Offers information, referral and direct support to any person victimized. Support is also provided during police, medical examinations and legal matters surrounding the crime, advocacy, counseling, and therapy.
