Reopening September 1, 2022, the Honolulu Museum of Art School offers courses in ceramics, printmaking, metalsmithing, textiles, drawing and painting, and a General Survey Art Exploration class. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. Responsible for emergency search and rescue for boating and ocean emergencies and clean-up of oil spills. Provides boating safety education and safety inspections of boats. Enforces laws at sea.

Manages public hunting areas, public hiking areas, forest reserves, wildlife sanctuaries, natural areas reserves. Accepts reports of forest pests, including new and unusual weeds and certain birds. Pest reports accepted include: wild pigs, snakes, large lizards, ferrets, the banana poka (a weed), the bulbul (a bird) on neighbor islands, and the mongoose on Kauai.

(Goodwill Store - Pearl City) Operates a thrift store selling low cost clothing, furniture, household goods, toys and more. Proceeds benefit vocational training and job placement programs for people with barriers to employment.

(HCAP STEM) The Ha Initiative: Creative STEM After-School Program is a free Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) after-school program for youth in grades 2-8. The program provides year-round tutoring, mentorship, and fun STEM activities in a safe after-school setting at five STEM Exploration Center locations on Oʻahu.

Operates an adult day program for individuals with intellectual disabilities, education and vocational training programs for low-to-moderate income people including those with disabilities/special needs, and other support services. Also operates programs for seniors and the disabled offering therapeutic and recreational activities. (Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellness Center activities are temporarily closed.)

Operates outpatient clinics for medical and mental health problems, including primary care clinics on Kauai, Maui and Hawaii. Provides a place anyone can call for prayer in time of need. Listens to the prayer requests and guides the caller into a prayer experience. Keep requests in strict confidence. Does not provide a counseling service; provides a prayer service only.
