American Cancer Society - East Hawaii Unit

Provides professional and public education about cancer. Provides services for cancer patients and their families. Distributes information on cancer's "seven warning signs" and emphasizes prevention through healthy lifestyles to reduce cancer risk. Promotes early detection to increase survival rates through regular physical examinations. Loans equipment (hospital beds, wheelchairs, commodes, etc.). Through volunteers, provides transportation to medical treatment. Also offers support group meetings and stop smoking programs, cab vouchers.

Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition

A statewide community-based organization of over 150 organizations, agencies and individuals committed to preventing injuries to children and youth. -membership based organization -get together and come up with ways to prevent injury -partner with hospitals -brings members together -provides various inter-prevention programs: car seat safety, safe sleep, teen driving, bicycle helmets/pedestrian safety, water safety, poison prevention & sport safety Go onto to their website to see their calendar of inter-prevention events they hold throughout the state. National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

Location of many ceremonial events to include Easter Sunrise Services, Memorial Day Services, and Veteran's Day Ceremony, etc. Afternoon Guided Walking Tours provided by the American Legion. RESTRICTIONS: Any form of sports or recreation, to include but not limited to jogging, bicycling, skateboarding and picnicking; boisterous actions and/or disrespectful conduct; smoking; consuming food and/or beverages within the cemetery; bringing pets into the National Cemetery (only seeing-eye dogs allowed); and failing to observe traffic control signs.

HOLO Card - Youth Card

City and County of Honolulu youth can use the Youth HOLO card to pay for rides on TheBus, and in the future the HandiVan, and the rail system on June 30, 2023. Go to the website for frequently asked questions (FAQ), register your card so you can protect it from loss or theft and transfer fees, sign up for the auto-reload program, check your balance for up to six family members and manage their cards and balances. Fares are capped and your money goes toward a pass. Once you spend the amount of a pass, you ride the rest of the day or month for free. Youth fares are $3.75. Transfers are free within 2.5 hours of riding the vehicle.

Sexual Violence Prevention Education

Narcotics Enforcement Division

We register and investigate all violations of persons who administer, prescribe, manufacture or dispense controlled substances in the State, including those who work at methadone clinics.
