(Pediatric Oncology Parent Support) Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation (HCCF) provides a wide range of services and programs for Hawaii families who have a child diagnosed with cancer, including financial assistance, support groups, social events, education and advocacy. HCCF offers financial assistance for medical, housing, and transportation expenses during treatment.

Offers programs including the McGruff "Take a Bite Out of Crime" program, internet safety, and crime research and trend analysis. Coordinates and administers federal grants including the Edward Byrne Memorial Grant (criminal justice block grant for drugs and violent crime, available only to government agencies). Violence Against Women Act (grant for violence against women), and Victim of Crime Act (grant for victim assistance and compensation programs). Leads the Hawaii Sexual Assault Response and Training Program consisting of a multidisciplinary, multi-agency effort to assist sexual assault victims and hold offenders accountable.

The ADRC staff members provide Options Counseling. It's a process that assists you to make informed decisions to select the long term services and support you need to age well and maintain independence. The ADRC is for people of all incomes and ages, to help you make plans that carry out your individual needs and preferences. It is also a point of access for all publically funded long term support programs and benefits. ADRC is operated by the State of Hawaii in cooperation with the four county governments. Anyone who wants to explore their options for long term support and services, or for help to family caregivers, may also use the ADRC website to search an online database for options, or to request the ADRC staff to contact them.

(Hawaii County Third Circuit Hale Kaulike Self Help Center) The Hilo Court Self-Help Center will provide legal help to the East Hawaii community on a pilot basis. Volunteer attorneys from the Hawaii County Bar Association will provide limited legal information by telephone in areas such as landlord-tenant, family, and other district court matters.
