Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts and two fields. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

The mission and purpose is to inspire students to value free enterprise, understand business economics, stay in school and be workforce ready. The CDC National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) is the U.S. reference and referral service for information on HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and tuberculosis (TB). NPIN is a next-generation clearinghouse that collects and disseminates data and materials to support the work of prevention organizations and workers in international, national, state, and local settings. Our services are designed to facilitate program collaboration in sharing information, resources, published materials, research, and trends among the four diseases.

Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. (Helping Hands Hawaii SNAP Outreach Program, HHH SNAP Outreach Program, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach, SNAP Outreach, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program Outreach, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Outreach) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. Helping Hands Hawaii’s SNAP outreach program provides help with: -filling out the SNAP application for the Department of Human Services (DHS) -providing interpretive assistance to Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals -facilitating submission of the application to the DHS offices -assisting with follow-up on application status as needed -helping SNAP benefit recipients to maintain those benefits -participating with DHS-contracted providers to conduct SNAP nutrition educational activities designed to ensure proper use of the SNAP benefit, including how to use the benefit and still be able to eat nutritious meals. Applicants may be eligible for SNAP if their household income meets Federal Income Guidelines. If the household appears to meet DHS eligibility requirements, they will be scheduled for an in-person interview with a SNAP outreach worker. Anyone who is interested in applying for SNAP benefits may call for more details. There will be a short pre-screening intake over the telephone (usually takes 10-15 minutes). Our staff will schedule an appointment with you and help you complete the form. Program is also offered in the community or at the applicant's home (by appointment) as needed. Contact the program to coordinate these off-site engagement. We can also submit your application to the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services (DHS) if you are unable to go to a processing center.

Youth small boat day sailing. Youth from 8 years - 20 years old participant in day time sailing activities on boats that range from 8 ft to 30 ft. Activities divided into programs for 8 -12 years and 12 years and older. Programs include basic sailing, intermediate sailing and racing. Sailing is an Olympic sport that can be done as an individual or team. Our programs provide children/teens opportunity to develop independent as well as co-operative thinking, healthy outdoor activities and beneficial adult mentoring. Big Island Sailing Foundation facilitates sailing "day camps" primarliy on the Kona coast. Summer camps are in June - July; Winter break camp at the end of December and Spring camps each year.

Waikiki Health's HIV Early Intervention Services Program is committed to the early detection and treatment of HIV, which can help prevent the onset of AIDS and other opportunistic infections. Confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing and counseling are available at the Waikiki Health’s Ohua Clinic in Waikiki and Makahiki Medical and Dental Clinic in McCully/Moiliili. Our prevention services team offers a wide variety of programs designed to reach individuals at risk for confronting HIV. Waikiki Health integrates HIV specialty care with primary medical, behavioral health, dental care and support services. Available as well during service hours at the Ohua Clinic in Waikiki

Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is incorporating a new evacuation notification platform, powered by Genasys, Inc, to enhance emergency operations for residents and visitors. The platform, known as Genasys Protect, will allow users to view evacuation zones, track live statuses, and receive real-time notifications through a mobile app. The Genasys system includes a zone map where users can see pre-determined evacuation zones, as well as live status updates during emergencies. The mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices, will enable the public to follow their important zones and receive notifications specific to their zone.

(NDR, March 2021 Flood) Nazarene Disaster Response (NDR) is a volunteer service responding to victims of natural and human-made disasters. It serves them regardless of race, creed, or economic status by concentrating on assistance to the poor, elderly, and handicapped, providing cleanup and restoration assistance for relief and reconstruction, enabling disaster victims to resume a normal life pattern. Aloha Harvest rescues quality donated food from hotels, restaurants, food distributors, caterers, businesses and individuals then delivers the food "free of charge" to approved social service agencies that feed the needy, hungry and homeless on Oahu. We store nothing. What is picked up each day is delivered that same day to the agencies. The drivers' routes are Sunday-Saturday 5:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church provides a food sack to participants who are in need of food, 1 bag per adult. Emergency requests are answered as soon as we find out about it, or when the person is referred to us by social agency as well as our own congregation each Sunday. Beach dwellers and families in multiple family situations are helped with food as soon as we are notified. We also provide used clothing, sheets, blankets, and towels when these items are available.
