Provides parents the opportunity to play with their children, exposing them to new equipment and skills, while encouraging social skills. Also provides parents the opportunity to meet and share with other parents who have children the same age as their own.

HUGS visits children with a life-threatening illness and their families while hospitalized for treatment. Interactive play with hospitalized child and/or siblings to relieve stress of hospitalization.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Facilities include: Three fields with two softball backstops, recreation building, four basketball courts, two volleyball courts, community garden, and play apparatus. Also have a fall sensor pendant called AutoAlert that will summon a call in the event of a fall even if the pendant is not pressed. Provide a wireless Medical Alert Service for those without landlines. 2. Philips medication dispensing system (PMD) that provides prescribed doses of medications throughout the day at specified times with verbal cues. If medications are not taken, the PMD will call family responders. All medication compliance history is accessible at a secured website.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. (H-HEAP, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention - Central, LIHEAP ECI, ECI) Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) Energy Crisis Intervention (ECI) is designed to help families keep their utilities (gas or electric) on, especially those households that are most vulnerable, such as the elderly, the disabled, and households with young children. H-HEAP primarily assists households by applying an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. Applications are accepted year-round. Medicab provides a door to door transportation service for people who need assistance or need to be escorted, usually to a doctor or medical facility. Drivers are trained how to communicate and assist elderly and disabled people. The driver does not lift, carry or push anyone. Drivers do sign out customers from the hospital and assist (guide by hand) people in and out of the vehicle COVID-19 patients are asked to sit at the back seat with their masks on. The driver drives with the windows down for full ventilation.
