(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing residential, outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, service to the community, hula and canoeing.

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

Sets minimum sentence for prisoners. Grants paroles and supervises persons paroled from prisons. Revokes paroles. Considers applications for pardons upon referral by the Governor.

AmeriCorps NCCC includes two routes: traditional and FEMA. Traditional Corps teams partner with local and national organizations to complete hands-on projects in a designated region of the country. Serve for 10 months as a Corps Member and gain a variety of professional experiences. Educate communities on sustainability and energy conservation, restore and build hiking trails, or build homes. Or serve for 11 months as a Team Leader and guide members through this transformative service experience. FEMA Corps Teams serve nationally under Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) direction to complete administrative projects related to disaster preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery. Serve for 12 months and rack up professional skills that are highly transferable. Coordinate with nonprofits and government agencies, plan response and relief efforts during a disaster, or conduct damage assessments after a disaster. Team Leaders also serve for 12 months in FEMA Corps.

Cancer Survivors Network: Online community created for survivors and caregivers to connect with others, visit www.cancer.org Gift Items: A limited supply of wigs, hats, turbans, scarves and breast prostheses are available by appointment. These items are received by the local offices by donations from others and through our TLC Catalog. Support Groups: The office is a clearinghouse of information on local self-help and support groups that provide emotional and educational help. Kokua Kalihi Valley (KKV) is a community organization with the mission for "healing and reconciliation in the Kalihi Valley community". KKV serves residents in Kalihi Valley a Medically Underserved Area and Health Personnel Shortage Area, as designated by the Public Health Service. Services include: dental, medical, family planning, WIC nutrition, behavioral health, elderly services, elderly exercise classes, youth development, case management, transportation, translation, case management and outreach, sewing program and Micronesian women's group.

Conducts all law enforcement. Receives all public service calls. Administers firearms registration. Handles abandoned vehicle reporting. Provides information regarding traffic services. Also provides information on the Neighborhood Watch Program.

(Alzheimers Related Disease Respite) Provides respite care for persons with Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other related disabilities. May accept incontinent patients. Does not administer medications. All involved people bring their own lunch.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Represents beekeepers at legislature. Sponsors workshops, classes and meetings periodically. Removes swarms of bees (including honey bees, wasps, and/or hornets).

(VCM) The Voluntary Case Management Program provides case management and skill building to address the issues that put children at risk of child abuse and neglect.
