(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing a residential program for men 18 years old or older. Other services include outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, and service to the community.

Operates an adult day program for individuals with intellectual disabilities, education and vocational training programs for low-to-moderate income people including those with disabilities/special needs, and other support services. Also operates programs for seniors and the disabled offering therapeutic and recreational activities. (Note: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wellness Center activities are temporarily closed.)

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

Parents And Children Together (PACT) offers safe, compassionate, and confidential support in three counties for youth and families coping with serious behavioral, social and emotional challenges. (Hawaii County PAL) Provides athletic programs and counseling for children under 17 years of age who have behavioral problems and tending towards crime.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a field. (Homelessness Prevention) This program serves families with children at risk of homelessness. If eligible, families can typically receive up to 3 months of rent (past due rent or future rent), utility assistance, or rental deposit.

(LITFP SSI) The Low Income Transit Fare Program (LITFP) provides a discounted transit fare for income qualifying individuals. For persons receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) no application necessary.
