(KHS) Starting May 26, 2021 the County of Kauai legislation requires dogs and cats over 3 months of age to have a microchip. Click the link on the website to make an appointment. A short-term shelter for youth of any gender Contact us if a youth between 12-17 years old needs:

• A safe space away from conflict.

We also offer many programs to support youth and families that do NOT require youth to be sheltered at Hale Pono, including mediation and conflict resolution services, referrals to community resources, and other supportive drop-in/outreach programs at our facility.

The Golden West Chapter hosts a number of annual activities and Community Outreach events in Hawaii. These opportunities raise ALS awareness and funding that help provide valuable care management services to people living with ALS, free of charge, and promote public policy initiatives on behalf of the ALS community in Hawaii.
