Special Olympics Hawaii provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to Hawaii's children and adults with intellectual disabilities. (Food Pantry, St Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry) Saint Joseph Catholic Church provides a food pantry for those in need. Each household receives one bag of groceries and one bag of fresh vegetables and/or frozen items. Households with 4 or more members receives two bags of groceries and two bags of fresh vegetables and/or frozen items. Clients need to register with the Food Pantry to qualify when they receive their food items for the first time. Food donations of canned fruits, meats, soup, beans, vegetables, cereal, and juice are welcome. Any food donations can be left in the food donation bin at the entrance of the church.

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(Alzheimers Related Disease Respite) Provides respite care for persons with Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other related disabilities. May accept incontinent patients. Does not administer medications. All involved people bring their own lunch.

Provides health education on topics such as diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, diet counseling and medication management. Offers outreach, family counseling, HIV testing and counseling. (C.O.R.E., CORE, Crisis Outreach Response and Engagement) City and County of Honolulu Honolulu Emergency Services Department's Crisis Outreach Response and Engagement (CORE) responds to non-emergency, non-violent, non-emergent medical assistance crises reported by community.

Provides support and supervision to adults 18 and older who are unable to remain at home alone. Provides two meals and two snacks daily, as well as both structured and informal activities for clients' enjoyment. Interaction with the keiki from the pre-school located on the same campus is offered through the Intergenerational Program. Offers field trips and numerous special entertainment activities throughout the year. Also offers assistance with personal care (using the restroom) for clients who may be incontinent or have physical limitations.

Offers information, referral and direct support to any person victimized. Support is also provided during police, medical examinations and legal matters surrounding the crime, advocacy, counseling, and therapy.

The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance.
