(Ola I Ka Hana Youth Program) Program for youth with low-income and at-risk youth who are in or out of school. Help with building skills to obtain a High School Equivalency or GED, exploring post-secondary education, and employment exploration.

A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. (Domestic Abuse Shelters and Transitional Apartments - Oahu) Domestic Abuse Shelters provide a safe haven for those fleeing domestic violence. Program accepts abused partners and their children. A 24 hour hotline is available for referrals and resource information. The Domestic Abuse Shelters (DAS) offers up to 120 days of a safe haven, basic needs (food, clothing etc.), counseling and services for children. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plans, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. Provides confidential crisis intervention, legal system advocacy/ support, counseling, and medical services for sexual assault victims. Victims choose whether to report to police. Staff will be present at police interview if desired. Prevention education to schools and community also available. Also provides counseling services to anyone who has been sexually assaulted at anytime.

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.

State of Hawaii Department of Defense's Hawaii Emergency Management Agency (HI-EMA) has a website with information on signing up for emergency alerts and what radio stations to listen to for more information. Visit the website and select the "Get Alerts" option under the "Plan & Prepare" menu at the top of the website. Links to the 4 county and 1 state emergency alert sign ups, social media sites, websites, and contact information are listed. Radio stations for the 4 counties are also listed. (HMSA) Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) Centers and offices offer in-person customer service to members and employers with an HMSA health plan as well as individuals who are looking to enroll in an HMSA plan. Offers medical, dental, vision, and drug health care plans to individuals and employers. Plan options include fee-for-service, preferred provider organization, health maintenance organization and plans for students, self-employed and Medicare supplement.
