Transitional Family Care for youth 5 - 17 years of age with emotional and/or behavioral disturbances, Hale Kipa's Therapeutic Foster Care Program provides community-based services within a family home setting. The 3-9 month program is often a "step-down" from hospitalization or a residential setting and can be helpful in transitioning youth from a higher level of care to successful integration into the community.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music and dance, seasonal activities and crafts, excursions and swimming. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Scholarships are given as a reimbursement for the tuition of college-level courses in early childhood education, for Professional and Career Education for Early Childhood (PACE) classes taken if converted to college credits, or for direct assessment fees in obtaining a Child Development Association (CDA) certificate. Hawaii Agricultural Foundation's program In the Fields brings learning to life with fully funded field trips that take students and teachers onto working farms across Hawaii. These experiences provide firsthand exposure to agriculture, connecting classroom lessons to the land, crops, and farmers who sustain our islands. By engaging directly with local agriculture, students build a stronger understanding of where food comes from and the importance of supporting Hawaii’s farmers.

Parents And Children Together's (PACT) learning and developmental services for pregnant women and low income families with infants and toddlers birth - 5 years old. Applications are accepted year-round. PACT's Early Head Start is a federally funded program that supports the healthy development of pregnant women, infants, and toddlers birth - 3 years old through early learning, health, and family services. PACT's Head Start is a federally funded program that promotes school readiness for children 3 years old - 5years old through education, health, nutrition, and family support services.

Assesses the vocational potential of disabled persons through work samples, situational observation, diagnostic interviews and psychometric tests. Provides information and recommendations for vocational counseling and rehabilitation plans. Conducts physical capacity evaluation, case work and counseling, psychosocial assessment, occupational skills assessment and work experience.

(Four-H Youth Program - Hilo) Assists youth in acquiring knowledge and life skills, and becoming self-directed, productive and contributing members of society. Through active, experimental learning, teaches science, communication, leadership, citizenship, health, safety, and nutrition. Teaches literacy using television program, "Ghostwriters". Sponsors KAMP (Kindergartners Are Most Precious), designed to promote school readiness, success which is designed to promote school readiness and parent-child interaction, and a "Youth At Risk" educational theater project.

(ADLRO) The Administrative Driver’s License Revocation Office (ADLRO) is responsible for: Conducting reviews and hearings related to the administrative revocation of driving privileges of respondents arrested in violation of HRS §291E-61 or §291E-61.5 for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Issuing review and hearing decisions, and determining the period of revocation to be imposed, and related matters. Issuing ignition interlock permits and employee driver’s permits to eligible respondents whose driver’s licenses have been revoked. Coalition for a Drug-Free Hawaii is dedicated to serving Hawaii’s children, families, and communities with aloha and programs that strengthen health, wellness, and resilience against substance misuse through awareness, education, and action. Programs include: after-school/in-school evidence-based programs for youth; youth leadership development; family strengthening workshops; youth and family counseling services; training and capacity building with communities; the Hawaii Prevention & Treatment Resource Center which offers substance use prevention, treatment, and related educational materials and resources to the general public; the Hawaii Pacific Center for Excellence providing training for the workforce in the field of substance abuse prevention, treatment, health, and wellness; and TeenLink Hawaii, a teen resource for information on critical health and social issues impacting youth.
