A training awards program designed specifically for persons currently working with, or planning to work with, older adults. (Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. (SSVF) HOPE Services Hawaii Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) promotes housing stability among veterans’ families with very low income who reside in or are transitioning to permanent housing. The SSVF Program may be able to provide the following services as they relate to housing stability: Outreach services, case management services, assistance obtaining VA benefits, assistance obtaining other public benefits and needed services within the community, limited financial assistance that is necessary to stabilize housing, assistance with housing searches, financial planning as it relates to stabilizing housing, health care services, daily living services, transportation services, fiduciary and payee services, and legal services.

(Environment Material Goods) Re-use Hawaii reduces waste and provides deconstruction services as a sustainable alternative to demolition. Our skilled teams remove structures by hand for the purpose of recovering the material for reuse. The recovered material is made available at our Redistribution Center, which provides these materials to the community as an affordable building material resource.
