Lokahi Treatment Centers (LTC) provides a highly structured environment that is centered on personal responsibility, individual dignity, and self-esteem. At LTC, our goal is to provide our clients with a continuum of care to meet them right where they are and guide them through a world of new choices. LTC provides identical services at all five (5) of our offices in Hilo, Kona, Kohala, Honoka'a & Waikoloa. Maintains professional association for psychologists. Provides a free online and telephone referral service to aid the public in finding a psychologist.

Provides in vitro fertilization for infertile couples. Does not maintain a sperm bank (brings sperm from the mainland as needed for individual patients).

Provides a year around schedule of activities promoting physical, mental and spiritual welfare. Maintains a multi-purpose exercise room, weight room, cardiovascular room, racquetball/handball courts, locker rooms, showers and 25-yard heated pool. Offers child care to members while using facilities. Organizes free family fun night. Operates after school programs at the following schools: Haiku, Kalihi Kai, Kihei, Pomaikai, and Puu Kukui. Offers summer day camp at Maui Family YMCA and Kihei school; kindergarten through 5th graders. Conducts classes in aerobics, cardiac therapy, gym, karate, personal fitness, swimming, water aerobics, weight training, yoga etc. Offers American Red Cross Community Water Safety (CWS) course (not for the public). Provides various classes at various locations on the island. Operates Camp Keanae. Provides child care (3mo-12yrs old) for members while they workout, maximum two hours, parents/guardian must be on same premises as child.

Pacific Whale Foundation's mission is to protect our oceans through science and advocacy. Conducts scientific research of ocean, coral reefs and marine mammals. Applies research findings to preserve natural marine habitats and animals. Provides public education, encourages community participation through lectures, school visits, natural history cruises, snorkeling trips and whale watching cruises. Offers internships for interested researchers who apply. Manages Adopt-a-Whale and Adopt-a-Spinner Dolphin program allowing interested citizens to receive information on the movements and developments of a specific whale. Operates Pacific Whale Foundation's Eco-Adventure, a for-profit subsidiary.

Our monthly therapeutic events serve as 'mini-retreats' by engaging families in a variety of healing activities and nurturing ongoing relationships with others on the grief journey. It offers an opportunity to revive health in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual self while developing meaningful relationships with families who have suffered a similar loss.

Provides services to immigrants with low-income to enable them to stabilize their immigration status in the country. The program assists applicants for US Citizenship, relative petition change of status and other family immigration petitions with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Operates special programs including agriculture education and training, employment services, family development and case management, Head Start, and senior community service employment.

(Goodwill Surplus Store) Goodwill Industries of Hawaii operates a thrift store selling low cost furniture, household goods, toys, and more. Proceeds benefit vocational training programs for individuals with employment barriers.

Defends indigents charged with federal crimes.

(PSI Helpline) Provides a helpline for support and local referrals for postpartum mental health, along with online information and support groups to help families, providers, and communities learn about the emotional and mental health of childbearing families. Website helps locate specialized support coordinators. The helpline connects callers to crisis hotlines, support groups, and events in that area. Helpline runs 24/7, but is staffed only during business hours. Callers may leave confidential messages anytime and staff will return them as soon as possible.

(H-HEAP, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention - Molokai, LIHEAP ECI, ECI, Energy Crisis Intervention) Assists households who are at the verge of getting their electricity/utility terminated or electricity/utility has been terminated within 60 days from the date of the application. Disconnection notice required. Applicants may apply, once per program year for one of the two types of credit: Energy Credit (EC) or Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI). 48 hours processing time once application is received, $650 maximum amount per client

(Domestic Abuse Shelters and Transitional Apartments - Oahu) Domestic Abuse Shelters provide a safe haven for those fleeing domestic violence. Program accepts abused partners and their children. A 24 hour hotline is available for referrals and resource information. The Domestic Abuse Shelters (DAS) offers up to 120 days of a safe haven, basic needs (food, clothing etc.), counseling and services for children. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plans, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. The shelters offer: -Domestic violence crisis hotline -Lodging and food -Crisis counseling -Individual counseling -Educational workshops -Support groups -Information, referral & advocacy -Children's program -Assistance with obtaining a TRO, Housing and financial aid -Volunteer program

Maintains information resources, i.e. books, magazines, musical recordings, video and audio tapes, State and County government documents and Hawaiiana materials. Provides fax service to send messages to State legislators. Provides access to wi-fi and telephone reference service. Also provides U.S. Passport assistance by appointment only.

(RAINN) The National Sexual Assault Hotline was the nation’s first decentralized hotline, connecting those in need with help in their local communities. It’s made up of a network of independent sexual assault service providers, vetted by RAINN, who answer calls to a single, nationwide hotline number. Also known as 1-800-656-HOPE

Offers rewards of up to $1000 to tipster who give information that leads to arrest or indictment of persons committing crimes or for the recovery of stolen property. All calls are confidential. Different unsolved crimes will be publicized in paper or television. Also accepts information on missing persons.
