(Family Peace Center - Maui) Maui Family Peace Center teaches non-violent problem-solving skills for families struggling with adult aggression and behavioral dysfunction, emphasizing partnership, equality, and respect among families. Support for survivors/victims and child witnesses of domestic violence that includes individual and group counseling, case management, parental classes, community referrals and legal system advocacy. Support for offenders includes violence intervention groups. Adolescent services provided free of charge for those in need of effective problem solving skills to manage anger and/or those exhibiting violent behavior and anger control issues; anyone can refer themselves or a family member. Community education and training for schools, community groups, and agencies available.

Manages surveys, maps and land related services for the acquisition of lands, rights-of-way, rights-of-entry and easements. HHHRC offers ongoing, free, non-judgmental wound care services in our office and in a street-based setting. The clinic provides basic wound care that can be managed in a community setting, which inludes, but is not limited to: -Simple i&Ds that were preformed at the bedside and/or were discharged from the ED -Typical level 4 or 5 patients (based on triage acuity) -Patients appropriate for outpatient setting needing follow-up -Patients with chronic wounds without evidence of acute infection and not requiring IV antibiotics -Dermis layer or subcutaneous layer wounds that do not require debridement -Cellulitis patients without SIRS and reliable to follow-up -Dressing changes with discharge orders

Our Brain Injury Program provides acute rehabilitation for patients who have sustained traumatic brain injury. We provide a comprehensive and individualized plan using an interdisciplinary team approach, working closely with patients and their families/caregivers to address specific needs and goals. Our patient-centered care model is focused on patients to maximize their potential. The REHAB staff also includes Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS) who have the expertise and knowledge to work with special needs following a brain injury. We help patients schedule a follow-up appointment with their physicians in our Physicians Clinic so they can continue their rehabilitation therapy in our outpatient NeuroTrauma Recovery Program (NTRP). The NTRP is designed for patients recovering from a traumatic brain injury and provides comprehensive rehabilitation assessment and service for impairments in cognitive, psychosocial and physical abilities due to a traumatic brain injury. Caregivers and family members are provided with a three-hour Caregiver Education and Training (CET) prior to discharge, meeting with each member of the interdisciplinary care team to get hands-on training.
