Youth small boat day sailing. Youth from 8 years - 20 years old participant in day time sailing activities on boats that range from 8 ft to 30 ft. Activities divided into programs for 8 -12 years and 12 years and older. Programs include basic sailing, intermediate sailing and racing. Sailing is an Olympic sport that can be done as an individual or team. Our programs provide children/teens opportunity to develop independent as well as co-operative thinking, healthy outdoor activities and beneficial adult mentoring. Big Island Sailing Foundation facilitates sailing "day camps" primarliy on the Kona coast. Summer camps are in June - July; Winter break camp at the end of December and Spring camps each year.

(Alzheimers Related Disease Respite) Provides respite care for persons with Alzheimer's disease, stroke and other related disabilities. May accept incontinent patients. Does not administer medications. All involved people bring their own lunch.

(Youth Employment and Success Hawaii) YES Hawaii serves youth ages 14-26. The program provides peer support and outreach services. The Program is youth driven and designed to engage foster youth in peer mentoring and meaningful and supportive events and activities. Services include outreach and support, peer mentoring, events and activities, leadership and skill-building, and social media and other electronic communication training.

The Caregiver Foundation provides support for the caregivers and individuals needing care through practical and emotional support services and educational programs. Provides comprehensive care coordination, financial management, guardianship, conservatorship, trusteeship, community education programs and caregiver support groups.

(HIHR) Provides Transitional Housing Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, Kitchen and Pantry Food Service Programs for the homeless. Provides assistance especially those with mental illnesses, substance abuse disorders, dual diagnosis, physical health and other disabilities, prioritizing the chronically homeless. Program helps achieve specific goals that includes but is not limited to obtaining and maintaining Transitional Housing, Supportive Permanent Housing and long-term Permanent Housing and will continue to provide Housing Services with Evidence-Based and Low-Barrier Service Models, as well as Coordinated Data Entry System utilizing (VI-SPDAT) and the Housing First Model Approached. Case Manager/Care Coordinator coordinates resources and community-based programs that helps with housing and other needs they may have. Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.
