Kapaa Missionary Church provides food in grocery boxes. The church also provides emergency food.

Project Vision is providing shelter for those affected by the Maui wildfires in August 2023 that do not have shelter. The site will be able to house around 150 people who will be provided a military grade tent for shelter. There is access to showers, medical care and restrooms as well as other services. The shelter will also provide transportation to and from the site. Case managers from the state will also be on hand to work with those shelter residents to develop a recovery plan. Location is off Hana Highway in Pu'unene.

Launched in January 2020, the Service Excellence Certificate of Achievement curriculum provides fundamental skills for employment in the hospitality industry and beyond. Upon completion of the program’s 9 lessons, students receive a Service Excellence Certificate of Achievement from Cornell University and ClimbHI. The program served 683 students and teachers in its first year, and is currently available for DOE CTE students. Makaha Community Center is accepting volunteers to help year round and in the post disaster period. Volunteers help with the collection and distribution of food, clothing, furniture, appliances, small appliances, cleaning supplies, etc. Times vary depending on volunteer hours. Three or four volunteers needed per day.

Educates about agriculture, family/consumer life skills, family finances, foods/clothing, and leadership development. Advises on soil management, livestock, crops, and farm management. Conducts 4-H youth programs.
