(HCBS) Adult Day Health in combination with Community Learning Services Group supports participants through a set of services on site and community based. Residential Habilitation provides individualized supports that assist the resident with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to living in the community. Chore Service provides services to maintain the home as a clean, sanitary and safe environment in order to ensure the participant’s health and welfare. Community Learning Services, Individual supports participant’s integration in the community. Personal Assistance/Habilitation includes a range of assistance or habilitative training services provided in the participant’s own home or family home to enable a participant to acquire, retain and/or improve skills related to living in his/her home. Training and Consultation assist unpaid caregivers, paid service supervisors and/or paid support staff in implementing the goals and outcomes developed from the person-centered planning process included in the Individualized Service Plan. RCH started its Developmental Disabilities Domiciliary Homes program in 1977. The homes were built by RCH with funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The homes are licensed and monitored by the State Department of Health. Currently, RCH operates two domiciliary homes with a capacity of housing and providing services for up to four residents in each home. The homes are managed by Domiciliary Home Managers who provide a family environment and support the residents in developing their independent daily living skills through integration in the community. The program consists of a highly structured skill developmental training program focused on personal care, social integration, and systematic positive behavior changes. The program is complemented with a day activity program and transportation services.

We offer a thriving and robust kupuna (senior) and youth program. We also host additional services for all ages in a safe, intergenerational setting at our multi-purpose family center. KEY programs, both our own and those of others with whom we partner, provide positive alternatives for youth and families from Kaneohe to Kahuku with a focus on prevention, alternative education options, civic engagement. As an excellent meeting site, KEY provides opportunities for community members to participate in and gain control over their lives and the future of their community through active participation in clubs, organizations, halau, forums and community service activities. (Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)) The Easterseals Hawaii (ESH) Autism Center provides effective, evidence-based, and individualized behavioral therapy and services for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related disabilities and disorders. The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) component of the program often includes intensive Verbal Behavior-Based therapy (VB). Treatment Focus Areas: Communication, Social Skills, Behavior Reduction, Academics and Academics Preparedness, Self-Help and Daily Living. Individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients in the Honolulu and Kapolei locations, as well as via telehealth. Our autism services program is designed to help children learn the skills they need to thrive by partnering families with our comprehensive care teams to develop a customized program to meets their unique needs and integrates into their everyday life. (Ka Puuwai O Na Keiki, Enhanced Healthy Start, DHS Home Visiting Services) We are a team of Home Visitors that respond to referrals from CWS for Maui County and also FSS and VCM for the island of Maui, and then offer screening for risk factors, assessments, treatment planning and service delivery to reach goals of reunification, parenting skills, support, resources and referrals. Each family referred to our team will be getting visits from a Registered Nurse to identify any developmental challenges and help with health needs. She is also a lactation specialist. They will also receive visits from a Clinical Supervisor for assistance in life with things like addiction, domestic violence and mental health. And each family will be assigned a Family Support Worker who will offer Nurturing Parenting lessons and offering support in an effort to identify and decrease risk factors as well as increasing protective factors. Ka Pu'uwai O Na Keiki never has a waitlist but is specifically referral only for parents and foster parents with a child between the ages of 0 to 3. Accepts collect calls.

(Pu'uhonua) Provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence. Services include crisis counseling, legal service, police intervention, outreach, advocacy and lifeline phones. (COVID-19 Testing) Does not turn anyone away that wants to get tested for COVID-19. Priority is given to the Kalihi Palama Health Center (KPHC) existing clients, those that are sick and have COVID-19 sypmtoms as well as the KPHC staff. KPHC provides documentation for employer, individuals that need to get tested to provide documentation for their employer, etc. will be at the bottom of the priority list to get tested. If an individual provides a referral from their doctor, the COVID-19 test results will be forwarded to their doctor and their doctor will notify them.

Lift HI Foundation offers tailored training-to-good job pathways, in partnership with local employers like Hawaii Pacific Health, that make it easy for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed (ALICE) households to participate. We proactively recruit applicants within communities, geographic or otherwise, with high levels of ALICE households. Our training timetable is a free, full-time training program. Two-fifths of our training focuses on skills such as goal-setting, culture, communication, and managing conflict among others. We currently provide “income replacement” (equivalent to the minimum wage). We partner with employers who are engaged actively throughout training who help with all or part of technical/clinical training, opportunities to visit and shadow in a clinical setting, pre-graduation job interviews, and preferred job consideration. We also contract former graduates to assist our graduates in navigating their new jobs and life.

(DUA) --The deadline for filing DUA is June 15, 2026, which is 60 days from the disaster declaration date. Applications submitted after the deadline will be considered untimely, and DUA benefits may be denied unless the individual provides good cause for late filing.-- Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is available for eligible unemployed employees, self-employed individuals, farmers, and fishermen engaged in business at the time of the disaster. Eligibility for DUA benefits is determined on a week-to-week basis for each week a claim is filed. Eligible individuals may receive DUA benefits beginning the week of March 15, 2026, through the week ending October 10, 2026.
