(The Actors Group) The Actors' Group (TAG) is a small but active Community Theatre. Our seating capacity is 55 to 60 seats. We are located in the Dole Cannery Square Mall. We produce 6 to 7 plays each season (September through August) These are all straight plays, we do not do musicals because our theater is so small. Everyone at TAG is a volunteer. And we are always looking for volunteers to help in every aspect of the theater.

Genasys Protect Evacuation App

Maui Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is incorporating a new evacuation notification platform, powered by Genasys, Inc, to enhance emergency operations for residents and visitors. The platform, known as Genasys Protect, will allow users to view evacuation zones, track live statuses, and receive real-time notifications through a mobile app. The Genasys system includes a zone map where users can see pre-determined evacuation zones, as well as live status updates during emergencies. The mobile app, available for both Apple and Android devices, will enable the public to follow their important zones and receive notifications specific to their zone.

The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. For a PDF of the paper application, visit the website and click on "SNAP (formerly Food Stamps)" from the menu "Benefit, Employment & Support Services (BESSD) SNAP, Financial, Child Care, General Assistance and more".
