Adult Day Health - Adult Day Health programs are located in Central Maui and provide therapeutic environments for our participants to grow and learn. We offer enriching community activities, promote self-direction and provide individualized programming. Our staff are teachers, advocates and mentors collaborating to foster our participants’ independence and supporting them to achieve their goals. We provide daily transportation and lunch. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am-2:00 pm. Come join and grow with us! Personal Assistant Services - This is a 1:1 service, where the participant is matched with a fully trained staff who assists him/her with navigating the community or working in the participant's home to achieve his/her individualized goals. These goals are developed by the participant and his/her circle of support in order to increase his/her level of independence and community access. Service hours are evaluated by the Department of Health and based on the participant’s needs and goals. Employment Services - Arc of Maui County supports the premise that all participants shall have the opportunity for competitive and integrated employment. Employment services are discussed with the participant and their circle of support to identify their interests and preferences. Employment is a significant way to improve self esteem and support participants to be contributing members of their communities.

(YWCA Preschool) Accredited preschool for 2 years old -5 years old focusing on the development of the child. Standardized curriculum in use in a safe nurturing environment. Children do not have to be potty trained but need to be in pull ups.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. Special Olympics Hawaii provides year-round sports training and athletic competition to Hawaii's children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. (Hawaii Homeownership Center - Honolulu Office) The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center's (HHOC) lifetime membership prepares buyers for the home purchase through classes and individual coaching. Classes address the general concepts about preparing for homeownership and the buying process; individual coaching provides support to identify buyer resources and create an action plan to become mortgage ready. Support after our members become homeowners is available through workshops and confidential meetings.

Investigates and takes enforcement action against illegal discharges into the City's storm drain system. Issues permits for various effluent discharges in to City's drainage system. Conducts a storm water sampling and monitoring program. Reviews effective Best Management Practices (BMP) for discharges into city's drainage system.

(MEO) Provides accessible transportation service for the youth, elderly, disabled, and general public of Maui County. Services include non-emergency medical transport, demand response, and specialized service to also include 'fee-for-service" operations.

Accepts reports of graffiti on Oahu public or private property. Identifies and notifies owners of defaced property.

Transitional housing for HIV+ individuals who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless. Participants may stay between 3 and 24 months; there is on-site curricula, one-on-one counseling, and group activities. Participants pay 30% of income towards rent. Not a hospice or treatment facility, but ensures that participants are connected to needed primary medical care and support services.

Recruits businesses, firehouses, agencies, etc. in the community as Safe Places, identified by easily recognized yellow and black diamond shaped signs. Any youth can go to a Safe Place for help. A trained worker at the Safe Place will talk to the youth to determine the immediate problem and act in the youth's behalf.

The Community Assistance Center helps families learn self-management skills enabling them to cope with difficult situations without violence. They provide an educational program; not a counseling or therapeutic service.

The Ulupono Family Strengthening Program provides family support, referrals and resources to families on Oahu from birth to 17 years old to promote positive parenting, safe and secure home environment, and healthy child development.
