Operates three core divisions: Fisheries Habitat (Environmental) Protection, Recreational Fisheries, and Commercial Fisheries and Aquaculture. Protects, enhances and conserves state fishery resources. Issues commercial fishing licenses, scientific collecting, and permits for aquatic life. Accepts reports of any aquatic animal in fresh or salt water.

Feed The Hunger Fund provides loans to low income and underserved individuals with businesses in the food system and directly and in partnership with local organizations. We identify and partner with organizations that are already working with our target populations to add value to the organization's ability to help their community, to ensure that our borrowers have other support services to increase their success, and to build a network that addresses the community's fiscal and physical health. We create or identifies existing Food Hub Networks to ensure that our borrowers are linked into a food system of production - distribution points that ensure their sustainability and to promote a community's food security and economic vitality. Feed The Hunger Foundation makes loans to borrowers who have businesses anywhere within the food system.

(Pahoa Family Health Center) Hawaii Island Community Health Center (HICHC) provides integrated medical, dental, and behavioral health care for the whole ohana. Services include, but are not limited to: primary care, preventative care, women's health, pediatric care, dental, same day visits, mental health care, confidential teen visits, substance use treatment, WIC services, community outreach, and school based health care.
