Offers counseling and support services for children who have been sexually abused or molested by non-family members. Provides confidential group and individual counseling for adults molested as children.

(PPA) The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America’s pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that’s right for them. Its mission is to increase awareness of patient assistance programs and boost enrollment of those who are eligible. It is a service available by phone and web site that acts like a clearinghouse, checking all known discount or free services to try and meet prescription needs by eligible callers or web inquirers.

Chamber Music Hawaii’s innovative education programs are designed to inspire, engage, and meet the needs of not only our local music directors and students, but all of our community members near and far. Each year, CMH’s three resident ensembles reach over 3,500 students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members on all six major Hawaiian Islands, through the help of generous grant support. Our curated online modules and in-person sessions are flexible and adaptable; our most common clinic formats are: “Chamber Chats” Presentation / Demonstration In this highly requested format, the ensemble members share about their individual instruments, perform musical demonstrations, and engage with the students/audience on certain talking points within the music. Topics covered can include solid tone productions, proper posture, working as a group, etc. This style of clinic allows for a great amount of versatility so that we can present topics relative to those participating. Side-by-side This format highlights the joy and energy of performing music together between artists and students. Each member of the ensemble sits in a specific section in the band or orchestra and plays along with the students. This allows the students to interact with our artists through the music being rehearsed and provides a quick and intense learning environment. It is a highly effective way to teach the students how to communicate through music. Sectional and Individual Coaching Impactful learning is especially effective in one-on-one arrangements. Sometimes a band or orchestra director would like individual artists of the chamber ensemble to help specific instrumental sections work on the music the class is preparing. One-on-one coachings are also offered in cases where a student may need a little extra assistance, or where a student could benefit from more advanced tutoring. (CLDP, Team Based Opportunities) The Conservation Leadership Development Program (CLDP) is a paid program for early professionals interested in pursuing a career in conservation. In CLDP, members are selected by a Host Site (partner organization) that aligns with their skills and conservation interests. Serving in areas such as ornithology, botany, natural resource management, aquatic resource management, marine biology, Hawaiian cultural studies, agricultural science, and more, CLDP terms typically last from 6 months to 1 year, offering hands-on experience, professional development, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in communities across Hawaii and the Pacific.

(Adult Behavioral Health Outpatient Treatment Services) Provides outreach into community to assess needs and develop a treatment plan. Provides case management utilizing resources in the community. Conducts health screening and nutrition/diabetic education.

Family Support Hawai'i provides a comprehensive array of supportive services for prenatal women, infants and toddlers, including those with disabilities, preschool-aged children. Offices are located in Kona and Waimea, with child care centers in Kealakehe High School and Greenwell Child Development Center in Kealakekua. The State of Hawaii Department of Taxation - Hawaii District collects State taxes, provides information and assistance on preparation of certain tax forms, issues general excise tax licenses, and furnishes State tax forms.

Mediates disputes between labor organizations and employers in private, public and federal sectors. Provides joint training of labor organizations and employers in various techniques toward the end of a collaborative relationship.

Provides custom made hair-pieces for children to the age of 21 who suffers from permanent or long-term hair loss. Hairpieces are made by hand from donated ponytails.

This line is primarily for transgender people experiencing a crisis, including people who may be struggling with their gender identity and are not sure that they are transgender, but is available to any transgender person in need.

(Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs) HOPE emergency shelter programs provide shelter for families and individuals that are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include intake/assessment, case management, referrals/linkages to community resources, access to bed space, storage, meals, laundry, food pantry and clothing bank.
