Youth Services groups are offered in both East and West Hawaii to both boys and girls ages 12-17 who are deemed perpetrators of harm. The focus of this group is to offer tools for reducing impulsive behaviors, improving self esteem and increasing the level of social competence as well as addressing the dynamics of adolescent victimization. The Youth Service groups are 20 weeks long and group is once per week; however, times and days of group may vary by location.

The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT SERVICES We provide a wide array of comprehensive assessments that include the following types: DUI or OVUII, SAP, First Time Offender Assessments (Act 230/44), and SAA. We work with the Division of Drivers Education, The Judiciary - Adult Client Services, the Department of Transportation (DOT), and Employers to provide needed alcohol and substance abuse assessments for individuals who are required to obtain one for various reasons. KSS can provide interpreter services as needed. ? Examples of reasons for needing or being required to obtain an assessment include but is not limited too: individuals that are found operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant (OVUII), or driving while under the influence (DUI), having failed or refused a urinalysis test under the direction of their employer (these types mostly fall under the requirement of a needing a Substance Abuse Professional SAP assessment), and/or are required to obtain an assessment per the terms and conditions of

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. (Hawaii Homeownership Center - Honolulu Office) The Hawaii HomeOwnership Center's (HHOC) lifetime membership prepares buyers for the home purchase through classes and individual coaching. The Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA) is opening applications for the waitlist on Monday, April 20, 2026 8:00 am until Monday, April 27, 2026 4:00 pm. The waitlist is for: -Project-Based Voucher Waiting List for the Towers at Kuhio Park, 1475 Linapuni Street, Honolulu, HI 96819. It is managed by The Michaels Organization. The HPHA is accepting applications for 2 bedroom units only. The HPHA will accept 600 applications. -Project-Based Voucher Waiting List for Palolo Homes, 2170 Ahe Street, Honolulu, HI 96816. It is managed by Mutual Housing Association of Hawaii. The HPHA is accepting applications for 3 and 4 bedroom units only. The HPHA will accept 300 applications. -Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Waiting List. This waiting list serves the HPHA’s Housing Choice Voucher program on the island of Oahu. The HPHA is accepting applications for all voucher unit sizes. The HPHA will accept 1000 applications. The HPHA has adopted a lottery selection policy.
