(ADRC) The Aging and Disability Resource Center is the source for individuals who are aging and have disabilities to get impartial information about support and services that help them remain living at home as long as possible with dignity and quality of life. The ADRC staff members provide Options Counseling. It's a process that assists you to make informed decisions to select the long term services and support you need to age well and maintain independence. The ADRC is for people of all incomes and ages, to help you make plans that carry out your individual needs and preferences. It is also a point of access for all publically funded long term support programs and benefits. ADRC is operated by the State of Hawaii in cooperation with the four county governments.

ESH recognizes the value employment has in achieving acceptance and living independent and fulfilling lives. ESH Employment Services provides exceptional, individualized services that support community integration through competitive employment. In collaborating with the Job Seeker, ESH develops an Individual Plan which will identify employment goals, activities and objectives. To implement best practices and person -centered planning, ESH uses a "Discovery Process" and "Customized Employment" model. Discovery Process and Customized Employment are recognized by the US Department of Labor as best practices.

Administers the Occupational Safety and Health Law and the Boiler and Elevator Safety Law. Conducts investigations of workplace catastrophes or fatalities and employee complaints regarding workplace hazards. Provides consultation to employers and training to employers and employees to encourage voluntary compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Law standards and rules. Inspects boilers, pressure systems, amusement rides, elevators and similar equipment.

Hawaii Agricultural Foundation (HAF) provides a Statewide art and recipe competition. The art competition is open to students in grade K-8. The recipe contest is open to grade 9-12. Visit the website for more information, timeline, and how to submit your entry.

Susannah Wesley Community Center (SWCC) operates a multi-service center with services and programs for youth, families, individuals, newcomers, senior citizens, and other residents of Kalihi-Palama. (Hotels for Heroes) Maintains a professional organization of hotel, resort and related industries. Collaborates with community resources to produce results and improved solutions serving the community. Communicates, promotes and funds educational curriculum related to the industry. Initiates member education to implement water conservation, recycling programs and other identified objectives. Promotes and advocates for legislation beneficial to members and the community they serve. Organizes annual charity walk and distributes proceeds to Hawaii County service organizations.

Assists Belgian citizens visiting or living in Hawaii (medical problems, legal issues, etc.). Replaces lost or stolen passports. Provides information for potential visitors to Belgium.

(MRTP, Maui Relief TANF Program) The Maui Relief Program is a program that provides benefits to eligible families with dependent children, or individuals, who were directly impacted by the wildfires. This program is separate from the ongoing TANF cash assistance benefit and has a different application process, eligibility criteria and requirements. The program benefits are not intended to meet a family’s recurring needs and will not extend beyond 4 months. Funding for people without dependent children is very limited. We encourage you to apply as soon as you can to be considered for assistance. When applying, please take into consideration that the current queue time is approximately two months. Survivors are strongly encouraged to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance prior to applying for support through the Maui Relief TANF Program. DHS wants to ensure families maximize available disaster relief efforts. FEMA housing has been extended through February 2027. Please use this time to secure the required documents and submit an application for MRP assistance a few months before you leave FEMA. The Program will help families with household incomes that do not exceed 350% of the 2023 Hawaii Federal Poverty Level, or individuals, with a: -One-time deposit to secure long-term housing (your family unit has a signed lease/rental agreement for 12 months or more. The security deposit must not be paid, as we cannot reimburse.) -Long-term housing payments up to 4 months (your family unit has a lease/rental agreement or is paying a mortgage) -Short-term housing payments up to 4 months (your family unit has a lease/rental agreement for less than 12 months or is temporarily staying at a hotel, vacation rental, etc.) -One-time down payment to purchase a four-wheeled personal automotive vehicle designed for passenger transportation for up to $6,000 (your family unit will sign a pending bill of sale/buyer's order before your 10-day pending deadline. The down payment must not be paid, as we cannot reimburse.) -Automobile payments up to 4 months, up to $1,000 each month (your family unit has a lease/auto loan agreement. If purchasing through a private seller, we can only assist with the loan in addition to the down payment if the total vehicle price is $10,000 or less.) -One-time utility deposit to connect utility sources (your family unit established accounts with utility companies) -Utility payments up to 4 months (your family has accounts with utility companies) -One-time clothing allowance for adults. -Every 12 months, clothing allowance for children (between ages Birth - 17 years old). -Every 12 months, allowance for school supplies for children between ages 5 years old - 17 years old. -One-time replacement of a refrigerator unit, actual cost up to $1,000   -One-time replacement of a range unit, actual cost up to $1,000 -One-time replacement of a washing machine unit, dryer unit, or both, actual cost up to $1,000 or up to $1,750 for replacement of washer and dryer   -One-time replacement of a microwave or toaster oven, or both, actual cost up to $200.   Note: Information on immigration status is only requested to determine the source of funds to which the benefits will be paid.

(PACT) The Building Industry Association of Hawaii (BIA Hawaii) offers a Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training (PACT) program, funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in partnership with Work Hawaii. This six-week program is free for qualifying individuals and is intended to prepare participants for entry-level employment in the construction field. The curriculum includes: OSHA 30 Certification; CPR/First Aid/AED and Bloodborne Pathogens; Introduction to carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical; Green building fundamentals; Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certification; Disaster site safety (15-hour OSHA); Job readiness support, including resume preparation and interview coaching; A guided tour of an active construction site. Participants also earn nationally recognized credentials, including the Home Builders Institute (HBI) Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate, and leave the program prepared for roles such as laborer, carpenter, plumber, or electrician assistant with pathways toward advancement in the industry.

(ADLRO) The Administrative Driver’s License Revocation Office (ADLRO) is responsible for: Conducting reviews and hearings related to the administrative revocation of driving privileges of respondents arrested in violation of HRS §291E-61 or §291E-61.5 for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Issuing review and hearing decisions, and determining the period of revocation to be imposed, and related matters. Issuing ignition interlock permits and employee driver’s permits to eligible respondents whose driver’s licenses have been revoked. Maintaining a record of all reviews, hearings, and decisions, and making such data available to related agencies.
