Founded by a group of people with OCD in 1986, the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) is an international not-for-profit organization made up of people with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders, as well as their families, friends, professionals and others. The mission and goals of the IOCDF are to:
  • Educate the public and professionals about OCD in order to raise awareness and improve the quality of treatment provided;
  • Support research into the cause of, and effective treatments for, OCD and related disorders;
  • Improve access to resources for those with OCD and their families;
  • Advocate and lobby for the OCD community.
Provides information and referral on treatment or support groups for those with obsessive-compulsive disorders (OCD). Publishes newsletter and other materials. Funds research and holds annual conference.

Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence

Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (HSCADV) is a coalition of organizations that serve survivors of domestic violence and their families. We provide education and training on domestic violence to service providers, community partners, and businesses, and develop resource for advocates and the community. We engage in public policy to improve survivor safety. We do not provide domestic violence services directly, but make referrals to appropriate agencies.

The non-profit organization offers Integrated Care for those with serious but treatable illnesses, and Hospice Care for those near their journey’s end, providing assistance with pain management and symptom control. Navian Hawaii provides caregiver support, grief counseling, and complementary therapies including art, aroma, massage, healing touch, and reiki. Navian Hawaii has offices on Oahu, Molokai and Lanai and accepts referrals 24 hours, 7 days a week.
