Our Cancer Rehabilitation Program (CRP) is a comprehensive program that provides outpatient rehabilitation to cancer patients and survivors. Whether newly diagnosed or finished with treatment, we can help decrease pain and enable individuals to safely and effectively regain independence. Our goal is to help patients love their life as they did before cancer. For those who want to increase their independence and fulfill rehab goals, the CRP may be the right path. Patients work with a team of cancer rehabilitation specialists, including physical therapists and exercise physiologists, to create a program tailored specifically towards improving quality of life.

Domestic Violence Advocacy - Oahu

(Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral.

KHP is a non-profit substance misuse treatment and recovery support Center with a focus on Native Hawaiian cultural values. Provides Outpatient treatment and support services for Molokai residents in early recovery from alcohol and other drug addictions. Also provides 12-step meetings and faith-based recovery support meetings. Provides urine analysis (UA) Testing for youth up to age 18 and adults. Able to provide alcohol and other drugs (AOD) assessments for driving under the influence (DUI) or treatment appropriateness for a fee. KHP has programs for Pregnant and/or parenting Women with children who want to engage in outpatient treatment. Also, persons with a co-occurring mental health diagnosis and a substance use disorder can join dual diagnosis treatment groups. KHP has an emergency food pantry open on Tue and Thurs after 12:30pm. Other culturally respectful services offered: 1. Addiction treatment (Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, Motivational Pre-treatment, Continuing Care) 2. Substance Abuse Assessments 3. Referrals for related services (Mental Health, Shelter, Detox, Drug Court, Rx support, etc) 4. Drug use testing (UA, Lab, Oral) 5. Impaired Drivers Classes for those with court compliance needs (Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program SARP) 6. Transportation to access recovery 7. Peer-driven motivational enhancement pre-treatment outreach and mentorship with Recovery Partners 8. Community Service opportunities (civic pride and court related) 9. Victory Farm -Sustainable agricultural project 10. Emergency food pantry services with the Maui Food Bank 11. Temporary sober living for single adults after 30 days of recovery who may need a safe start 12. Assistance to send a participant to residential treatment off island (if funds permit) Ka Hale Pomaika’i offers their office as a Recovery Community Center serving as a forum for support such as 12-step meetings, Ohana gatherings and learning circles with Kupuna. All services that KHP offers are conducted with a focus on Native Hawaiian traditions and values.
