(EOEL) Our mission is to coordinate efforts to help ensure a solid foundation for Hawaii's young children, prenatal to age 5, by working with partners, families and communities, and aligning policies and programs in relation to health, safety, and school readiness and success. (Family Visitation Center - Kauai) Family Visitation Centers provide a safe, neutral setting for children to visit with their non-custodial parents or transition from one parent to the other. After a divorce or separation, family visitation services may be arranged by agreement of both parents and by court order.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. (Healthy Families America Lana'i) Home Visiting program for families who are prenatal or have a newborn in Maui County. We provide a variety of support including resource information, parenting information, child development information and community connection. Virtual services are available.

Uses 12-step program format (based on Alcoholics Anonymous) which encourages members to share experiences and promotes personal change. Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. (MEO) Maui Economic Opportunity provides case management that includes developing an individual service plan, budget preparation, financial literacy, and other counseling. Clients may receive up to six months of rental assistance on a sliding scale, with the maximum rent of $3,000 per month.
