McKinley Community School for Adults (MCSA) - Farrington Campus provides adults with basic, remedial, and continuing education opportunities. Our programs include English Language Acquisition (ELA), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation, and Workforce Development Program (WDD).

School-based programs are during or after-school and conducted in collaboration with school counselors. Programs offer therapeutic peer support groups that follow the Hawaii Department of Education (HDOE) public school calendar. Kids Hurt Too Hawaii (KHTH) is expanding school-based groups upon request from schools. Requirements include a dedicated therapeutic space for conducting groups at the school. KHTH provides the supplies and set-up as well as trains volunteers to assist if allowed with professional staff available at every group. Currently at Paia and Nanakuli. The program is expanding to other schools upon request. Currently helping elementary school aged children.

Our Honolulu site was opened in 1996 and is located on the 1st floor of the Prince Kuhio Federal Building. Rainbow School Honolulu has an Infant/Toddler program which is licensed for 15 infants and toddlers. Our Preschool program is licensed for 75 children ages 2-5 years old. Rainbow School, Inc. in Agreement with the US General Services Administration, provides childcare services to Federal employees who are given priority and the general public. We are licensed by the State of Hawaii and all staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. Junior Achievement of Hawaii teaches business economics to students in K - 12th grade using trained volunteers as business consultants. The mission and purpose is to inspire students to value free enterprise, understand business economics, stay in school and be workforce ready. We provide services by coming to schools or in some cases other sites where students gather.

Provides referrals and consumer education to families for state licensed child care homes and centers (preschools and infant/toddler centers) for children aged birth to 5 years of age, including after school care for up to 12 years of age.
