(Kuaana Project, Kua'ana Project) The Hawaii Health and Harm Reduction Center provides the highest quality services for the transgender community. Through advocacy and understanding, our trained staff is able to provide basic social services along with HIV and Hepatitis education and testing.

The Army Community Services's Mobilization, Deployment and Stability Support Operations program helps support community readiness during deployments and emergencies. Helps make sure installation programs align with unit deployment cycles, provide pre- and post-deployment support, and help unit commanders with their family readiness plans and deployment support services for service members and their families. Responsible for operating an Emergency Family Assistance Center in the case of an all-hazards event, and supporting service members and families during Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) and Repatriation. Acts as a case manager for all requests for assistance through the Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS).

Provides water safety (beach lifeguard) services at beach parks on Oahu. (Hawaii Relief Program) Catholic Charities Hawaii has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). -One-time automobile down payment -Up to 4 months of automobile payments Utility payments may include electricity, gas, or water expense, or a combination of these utility sources. Water expense may include sewer service fees. Payments are made directly to landlords, mortgage lenders, or utility providers. Lanakila Teaching and Learning Centers (TLC), a program of Lanakila Pacific, assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with mastering basic skills to expand their life experiences and foster a sense of independence. Focusing on each person’s individual needs, Adult Day Health programs located in Honolulu and Wahiawa offer in-house classes, community outings and recreational opportunities that can help participants build the confidence and skills needed to integrate into the community as well as engage in volunteer and pre-vocational activities. The Employment Exploration component enables participants to identify interests and explore potential integrated employment settings.

Our services are designed to facilitate program collaboration in sharing information, resources, published materials, research, and trends among the four diseases.

(Help Understanding and Group Support Respite Program) HUGS schedules respite services for enrolled HUGS member families who meet medical eligibility requirements. Volunteers are needed.

Develops and manages statewide system of artificial reefs to enhance sportfishing species.
